With the launch of their flagship location near Grand Central, Mocean needed to showcase their space and tech. Instead of being overly informational, they wanted people to feel what it's like to be at Mocean. The audience may not understand how the machines work, but they should still want to venture in for the "Mocean experience.”
Before filming, I explored the space and experienced a full treatment as a client. I wanted to feel what patients feel at MOCEAN—calm, cared for, and restored.
To capture that, I used a gimbal to create smooth, floating camera movement, mirroring the weightless, restorative nature of physical therapy itself. I customized the color temperature of lights throughout the clinic to create a mood of warmth, peace, cleanliness, and comfort. The final video was paired with a curated photo set that carries the same visual language across still and motion.
The video anchored the homepage of MOCEAN’s website, with its tone and aesthetic woven through their broader digital presence.
Beyond boosting social engagement, this creative direction helped shape the brand’s visual identity as they grew into becoming an official partner of the New York Mets and expanding to a second location in Los Angeles.
Next projects.
